Dispelling The Suspension Of Disbelief Songtext
Take it away and I will show you we're all the same.
Where once it was enough to admit you'd lost it, we've been buried in our shame.
I will fight to defend that the truth makes it's home in your head.
From the outside it appears this never happened, but I know you won't forget.
I know you can't forget.
We will never fall asleep face down again.

If this is what it's come to be then keep my soul asleep.

This bed is so cold, but there is nowhere left to go.
And it is way too late to call upon my conscience as to why I'm here alone.
So clear your mind, because it's only a matter of time.
From the inside out the in-between was perfect, but I know we won't survive.
I know we can't survive.
We will never fall asleep face down.
You have to believe me, this won't last forever.
You try and you try but you've failed from the moment you start.

So hold on, it's almost over.
I'll give everything I have to make this right.
Because we are not so clean,
And no one can survive.

If I die will I have figured it out in the end?
I just hope to God that I have made my peace by then.
We won't be searching long.
So drain your worst and realize who you are.
I have seen this all so many times before,
But I still need so much more.
On faith alone we have to seperate these worlds and face them on our own.
Because I know everyone's been waiting on us to rise or fall.
Should I collapse before I wake, please understand it's all the same.
Because we've already failed ourselves for thinking that we'd get by on..
