Pushing Cheerleaders Down the Stairs Songtext
I sure did have fun in high school
Pep rallies, football games
I especially loved the cheerleaders
Knew 'em all by name
There was Ashley, Brittany and Jennifer
Not to mention Heather and Stacey and Claire
No nothing was ever much more fun
Than pushing cheerleaders down the stairs

Oh we'd take those preppy peppy girls
And shove 'em down the stairs
They'd flop around like dummies and
You could see their underwear
They had to paint the stairwell
Seven times while I was there Cause my idea of high school sports
Was pushing cheerleaders down the stairs

None of them would go out with me
Said they'd rather go to hell
That's all right, but I never said
That I took rejection very well
I'd sneak up behind them and
I'd give them a great big shove
And down theyÂ'd go designer shoes and all
And emit those squeals I loved!

Oh we'd take those preppy peppy girls
And shove 'em down the stairs
They'd flop around like dummies and
You could see their underwear
They had to paint the stairwell
Seven times while I was there Cause my idea of high school sports
Was pushing cheerleaders down the stairs

Most of them recovered nicely, only a handful died
And with a whole lot of tacky ceremony, they were buried side by side
And that was that, til the next full moon, bout a month later, give or take
Nothing was ever quite so scary as cheerleaders from the grave!

The graveyard dirt began to shake
And up came their remains
I don't know what they wanted, but
I'm guessing that it wasn't "BRAINS!"
You'd shoot one and a couple more
Would appear to take its place
Nothing was ever quite so scary
As seein' cheerleaders from the grave!
