Now you're drunk not far from stoned,
you feel this way every time you feel alone,
it wont be long before we're changing,
rearranging the way that we once saw ourselves,
and you know it's true...

I hope that they will stay,
this city's never the same,
when you lose one to many friends,
you could never get them back.

Because I see myself in my mothers, arms now
just try and get some, sleep now
tomorrow wont come easy, for you nor me
and I hope, I hope your father remembers me
He find it so damn, easy
to let go or everything.
(But soon enough, he'll be painting waves)
I hope that they will stay,
because this city isn't,
now i've lost every friend I had,
and I never got them back.
