Why is love never enough? Probably because you never gave it a chance. I mean, you say it's love, but, my friend, we know that's just a song and dance. If you were in love it wouldn't be someone else folded around you at three am. If you were in love you wouldn't be somewhere else when he's there blaming himself. I can understand if you're afraid, but a few too many mistakes have been made. Naivety is no excuse for breaking yet another heart. The single life is no excuse for keeping him single for the rest of his life. Cause you're the only one for him, and I hear you love him in return. If you care about him, if you care about Love, then all you have to do is stop. I realize a serious relationship isn't what you want, but you shouldn't hurt him because he's so serious. You shouldn't push him away just because he wants you closer. If you're not ready, so be it. But don't lead him on. If you love him, don't treat him that way.
