This Is Our Collapse Songtext
Born not of natural descent.
Man formed by the dust of the air as the prince looked on in astonishment.
Granted authority over nothing.
Dreading his rebellion would come to an end.

Who would have thought that mere flesh
and blood would bring order to this place?
Who would have thought that
apathetic hypocrites would turn this all around?
Now losing sight of our purpose.
The prideful composer plots to fake, to fake his own death.
Drifting off into a lucid dream.
Father always warned us to look away.

Overcome with passion, you lend a helping hand.
And who will set the captives free?
I said, "who will set the captives free?"
Someone, anyone.
A kiss of treason so perfectly executed, I felt it tonight with every fiber of my lips.
One man? Truly one man couldn't have bore it all on his shoulders.
Pulsating vessels of blood now turn to love.

Take your time; I'm still learning, I'm still
walking out this life.
Take your time; We're still learning, we're still
walking out this life.

Who would have thought that mere flesh
and blood would bring order to this place?
Who would have thought that
apathetic hypocrites would turn this all around?

Take your time.
