The Boutique Songtext
Twenty years from now
Maybe I’ll get me a shop
I’ve collected many things
I just have to show them off
It all comes to life
My sketches and designs
Zina’s Boutique
Is what it’ll read
When you help me hang the sign
Maybe I’ll get me a shop
I’ve collected many things
I just have to show them off
It all comes to life
My sketches and designs
Zina’s Boutique
Is what it’ll read
When you help me hang the sign
And every Friday evening
When it gets to around 9
I’d close the doors
And push the hat racks to the side
Put on a little music as
The pendulum of time swings
We don’t wanna stop it
So we just sway left and right
There are days I’m living in
It looks nothing likе I thought it would
There are days it couldn’t bе further
Either way I water the seeds
Twenty years from now
I’ll open the boutique
On opening day
Though the window display
See a line around the street
I don’t need to worry bout all the steps between Everything I seek is all also seeking me
When it gets to around 9
I’d close the doors
And push the hat racks to the side
Put on a little music as
The pendulum of time swings
We don’t wanna stop it
So we just sway left and right
There are days I’m living in
It looks nothing likе I thought it would
There are days it couldn’t bе further
Either way I water the seeds
Twenty years from now
I’ll open the boutique
On opening day
Though the window display
See a line around the street
I don’t need to worry bout all the steps between Everything I seek is all also seeking me
