Stubborn Silence * Songtext
So many things passing through me these days,
most thoughts traveling with unpolished glaze.
Unorganized, cluttered, with a hint of dreaminess.
Such as her calm face at the tail end of laughing creaminess.
Words are chosen, one doesn't fit,
but it presents a pleasing pattern.
These thoughts began as impossible choices,
yet settled on her for rest so gentle.
Her charm flows through me and seeps through the drying ink.
I'm paranoid that if I turned my head I'd see him wink.
The left eye, a green one, which one is not the issue.
Because just across the border, his sister
witnesses the silent wetting of tissue.
