Strangers Songtext
I got a little blue house by the beach
Whole wide world, 1300 square feet
People stop me when I'm in the hood
Just to show love, take a photo by the trees
Ray bans just to be discreet
Momma say my skin glowing now 'cause I don't drink
Lol, yeah, I'm feeling good
I had to leave the city just to find a little peace

And I found a little place just for me, and they love me the same
I am just her speed, said she want me to stay, she's similar to me
They push her out of the frame
'Cause they don't really know, really know, know, know
Walking on the beach, love the sound of the waves
There ain't much I need, guess I'm doing okay
The parrots make a sound it seem like everyone hates
But they don't really know, really know, know, know

And it barely ever rains
And the sun fills up my home
And the weather goes my way
And the neighbors say hello
I'm up early every day
Just to watch my garden grow
And nobody thinks I'm strange

She said I'm right where I belong
If I'm right or if I'm wrong
I could always come home, home, home
Told her I've been fighting all my life
I got calluses and all
She said you ain't gotta fight no more
And I was really trying to hold it in
But I fell onto the floor
Cried 25 years worth of tears
She told me you can stay here all your days
If you open up your door
And you let go of the fear right here

So come on over where the shade is good for you
Come on over where the people look for you
Someone auntie say she's gonna cook for you
Boy, you know the beach look good on you
Come to where the sun say hi to you
Where the good things make time for you
The only place that ever seem right for you

And it barely ever rains
And the sun fills up your home
And the weather goes your way
And the neighbors say hello
You're up early every day
Just to watch your garden grow
And nobody thinks you're strange
