There's a place at the end of the stream
I have seen it before in my dreams
While the world may seem a mess
There's a place worth every breath
Where the river is going,
it never stops flowing
and leading me closer to death

The water is deep and so friendly and tempting
and life is for living
(we know this is true)
But explore too deep
and you'll sink in the mud
Stay out of the black
and into the blue
While the shore is an exit
for those who are desperate
To always avoid feeling
desperate or drowned
They'll sink in the sand
When they step onto land
I'm waiting for my solid ground
