Pretty in Pink Songtext
I ain't got no money, no credit cards
I'm trying to make the rent and I am slowly reaching desperation
Driving with expired tags on a quarter tank of gas
They took my license, no insurance now I'm reaching my end
I always feel so empty in my shoes I'm always trying to play it cool
But what's the use? what's the use?
Sometimes We just cant make on our own
Theres more to life than mobile phones and fancy cars with the navigation

So take all your diamonds and your gold
Take all your money to the bank 'cause when you die they're gonna take it all back
So lean on each other, sisters and brothers like the birds of a feather
We've got to stick together

So don't you run out on me
I wont leave you stranded
I'll carry you when you're weak
When you do not have the strength, I will not turn away

Last night I had this dream that I was driving down the street
And saw this bum holding a sign that said "God Help Me Please"
And when I stopped to give that bum some change he turned away
But when he turned right back around I realized he was me
Sometimes we don't have reasons to believe
You wait and see I used to be out in crowed but now I'm up on the stage
If we find our will to live
Then we've lost our only truth
God forgive us of our sings
For we know not what we do
And I hope that you all had enough to eat,
'cause tonight a baby sleeps in a coma from malnutrition
So lean on each other sisters and brothers like the birds of a feather
We've got to stick together

So don't you run out on me
I wont leave you stranded
I'll carry you when you're weak
When you do not have the strength, I will not turn away
(x2)

And when the ghosts permeate through the radio waves
I hope to God that you're already changed
Practice what you preach, before, its, too, late

Its time to march to the beginning of our hearts.

So don't you run out on me
I wont leave you stranded
I'll carry you when you're weak
When you do not have the strength, I will not turn away
(x2)

Its time to march to the beginning of our hearts.
