Lazy Katie's complaining
About the heat and flies
Can you make it be raining
When she opens her eyes?

Now the whole place is empty
Inspect what's left behind
You pocket what you find

When it's too hot, she draws pictures
Of penguins and igloos
Sometimes the evil sun melts those, too
Sometimes mother nature is trying to kill you

Take an extra flyer to write your rescue note
Thought you'd only come so far with what you've always known
And you can think of anything to say after a while
But inside you're still all smiles
