Peace, Love, and Music Songtext
Peace, Love and Music alright, alright
Wake up to the sound and you just might
Put down your anger and grief
'Cause you just need some fuckin' relief
Relief from day to day, night to night
Roots of Creation gonna make you feel alright, alright?
'Cause we're bringin' reggae music to a higher ground

Way back in '69 when the music was fine
and people were just tryin' to have a good time
There was a festival called Woodstock
And to this place everybody would flock
They had Richie Havens and Arlo Guthrie
White blotter acid and the love was free
Everybody was dancin' and romancin'
And feelin' irie

Then in '94 they tried again
But they pulled it off like a "corporate rock whore"
Chargin' way too much cash
Without the same spirit they had the last bash

Now in '99 that's when things went wrong
And got me singin' this song
They should've known from the start
This type of music didn't have the same heart
They had rape
They had fire
Shit was going down
It was time to retire
I hope they learned a lesson from this
Peace, Love, and Music wasn't made with a fist, ya'll
