Not In Vain (A Tribute To Charlie Kirk) Songtext
Voices rose in a crowded hall
Truth was spoken and the silence stalled
But the world turned violent blinded by hate
And a servant of Christ met heaven's gates
Society scrolls to the next big thing
New devices new idols they bring
But a soul stood firm for the Lamb who saves
Now his crown of life will never fade (James 1:12)

Blessed are the ones who bear His name (Matthew 5:10)
Even if it costs their flame
Blood on the ground but heaven cries
"Your life is hidden with Christ on high" (Colossians 3:3)

Not in vain not in vain
Every martyr speaks His name
Though this world may look away
Heaven opens wide today
Not in vain not in vain
Through the cross comes kingdom gain
From the ashes truth remains
Their deaths are never in vain

In the Congo a hundred died
For confessing Christ they were denied
Yet the world just cheered a brand-new phone
Blind to the blood hearts turned to stone
But the Shepherd leaves the ninety-nine (Luke 15:4)
For every soul He'll cross the line
Greater love no man can show (John 15:13)
Than to lay his life for the One he knows

Persecuted but not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:9)
Even death can't steal this joy
For to live is Christ to die is gain (Philippians 1:21)
Their glory sings beyond the grave

Not in vain not in vain
Every martyr speaks His name
Though this world may look away
Heaven opens wide today
Not in vain not in vain
Through the cross comes kingdom gain
From the ashes truth remains
Their deaths are never in vain

"Today with Me in paradise" (Luke 23:43)
Promise sealed eternal life
The Lamb who reigns will wipe all tears (Revelation 21:4)
The blood of saints is precious here (Psalm 116:15)

Not in vain not in vain
Every martyr speaks His name
Though this earth may turn away
Heaven's gates are wide today
Not in vain not in vain
Their crown of life will still remain
Every loss is heaven's gain
Their song of faith is not in vain

Oh Jesus heal this land
Break our pride and take our hand
Every life that bore Your flame
Not in vain not in vain
