Missing The Days Songtext

I'm still missing the days of cold nights
and warm hands.
Being close to you was like the world to me.

And it's warm on this night
except for your side of the couch.

I'm still missing the days with the lights down
and the music on low.
And minds off.

And now I sit on a cold couch
with the music off,
and my mind on.
And something must have happened
because those words have caffienated me.

So now my book is finished,
but I forget how it's ended.
Maybe it was like all other fairy tales, "and they lived happily ever after",
but I think it is
"and she lived happily ever after".
