Infamous Last Words Songtext
Hey, I don't need your stupid games you stupid girl, I just don't know what you're sayin'. You speak and speak but you're sayin' nothing, interrupting, to tell me about a t-shirt that you saw on the street. Where I come from, you just run from. You've never even faced a problem down.

So now times get tough and you get going again. And I'm left feeling like an ornament again.

Now I believe you're lost in thought, but thinking not, and I could be wrong. You tell yourself this living hell was somehow caused by someone else. And one day you'll find out it's not what it seems, the world is no oyster to people who dream.

I write to remember, I smoke to forget. I drink to forgive, take pills just to live. What I love most is not daring to bug about things that you bug about, you've got them locked down. I'm way too familiar with drugs that can kill you, with love that can thrill you and the other way around. God better save us or come back to shame us, or maybe he played us and Nietzsche came correct.

Maybe you won't like what I have to say but you opened the door. Maybe you won't like how it ends this way but you did it anyway.
If you find your perfect figure, hold it tight like a trigger. Breathe, relax, aim then reconsider. Everyone knows that you're a little gunshy, but how many know that you're living a lie? I'll trust in my feet and the ground where I stand, I'll mark up my skin with a list of demands. 'Cause you've taught me nothing but what I don't want. Now bridges are burning so I'll take what I've got and walk away.
