If We Never Talk Again Songtext
"If We Never Talk Again"

Since you left my house today,
Ive tried to find the strength.
The will it takes to leave this place,
To stretch the final length.

But all my clothes don't seem to fit,
And nothing's looking right.
So maybe its not meant to be,
Or is my skin too tight?

I wish I knew you like I did,
But youre not here to ask.
I closed the blinds on life tonight,
And wore my pity mask.

Because I'm a work in progress, dear
A novel left undone.
A day that just arrived too late,
A setting of the sun.

They say youre just a block away,
But I don't measure length.
I take a look inside your eyes,
The distance is your strength.

If we don't ever talk again,
You'll probably never know.
All these things I write for you,
Have nowhere left to go.

So if you see my picture soon,
and whisper "here's my friend".
Please don't try to play the fool,
And let me see your pen.

I'll write the ways I hate you now,
And never have the space.
To write down all the things i've said,
And watch your pretty face.

I hope your pupils swirl your eyes,
Your mouth becomes the drain.
I'll let your nose slide down your throat,
and watch you scream in vain.

And maybe you'll know how I feel,
Like every single day.
Eternal pain that clouds my face,
Will wipe your smirk away.
