Lorded over me watch T.V.
Cheaply Heaven sent showing me
A celluloid promise defining the loser
In society's job there's only one union
this tale don't seem so fair


Over and over at the age of eight
The story's conclusion never seemed quite right
Tell me the reason if you're gonna make them lose
Then why the Hell did you make them look so cool


I never really liked little riding hood
The pages never told me what I thought they should


The wolf goes down again and again the crook gets the chair it's alright in the end
These are the ones I want to defend never want the winners to be my friends


Reduced to a problem explained away
The bad guy never gets to have his say
Stagnant hero worthy to despise
Reinforces the age old lies
this tale don't seem so fair


I want the monster to live the child to die
The couple to part but not to make you cry
Sheer frustration see what it's like
The rejected endings the bits that I like
