Hang your jacket up on the cat rack,
leaving this town, never coming back.
I'd believe you if I hadn't said that all before.
If our lives hadn't lost their balance
the rope would have snapped on the first step out.
And I just can't live without hanging on to the things in the past,
pints and empty's stacked in the trash and every winter I get lost
and dreaming of a better place to rest.
Seen some doctors more than some family, a little blood drawn,
a liver function test. Later on I'll do some tests of my own.
