Daydream Songtext
has every inch of this world been settled
or is there a corner waiting for you and me
with these questions unanswered
a flame of hope flickers
let's start a voyage on the open sea

and that's where it starts
an idea in my head
and then i find myself wide awake
and dreaming again
i invent scenes and plots with happy endings
i have cozy thoughts that end my headaches
so why wouldn't i daydream

i had my head in the clouds this morning
i blame the summer air and the breeze
i've started aiming high, there's a possibility
these dreams may become reality

and this is where is starts
an idea in my head
and then i find myself wide awake
and dreaming again

i have cozy thoughts that end my headaches
some say it's nonsense, just a pipe dream
i tune them out i'm too busy dancing on a sunbeam
the stage and props come naturally
and everything just comes to me
hey, it's cheaper than t.v.

in a world that's always moving
