A Bright Destruction Songtext
A snake and a garden are elegant foes. They gave contention. But then knowledge is resistance. They guard the door. But they guide the foe.

Give me a hero for this epic. Or i'll make one for myself. You say yours is the only way. But show me a death that I can survive.

And I shall come down from the mountain of my imagination, hoisting up a golden calf just to see it burn.
I will be asked to flood the world but choose to close my eyes against the host.
Afterward I will live in a cave, carving catchphrases into the rock.
I will slice off my eyelids to try and see the truth, but will be blinded by a lack of beginnings.

In a world of so many futures maybe only the flood matters.
But I'll breathe alongside the tree.
The world may crumble but I'll still breathe alone.
I won't be weighed down, down below myself,
by those who point towards a bright destruction.
Their eyes blinded the glare of reflected egos.

I am the knife, I am the blood, I am the world, I am the light, I am the vessel, I am the heart, I am the walls, I am the start, I am it all but still nothing.
I am it all but still nothing.
I am nothing and I am you.
