I took a good look into the mystery of all things dying
when the soul leaves the body and the spirit soars to keep from crying
I walked along the path and I came across a golden door
Leaving all my cares behind I won't need them there anymore

It's strange to find out what the truth is all about

I was foolish to think that we could be

Why one could be short and the other a distraction
