We Just Can't Win Songtext
It's hard to school cause I have no friends, They make fun of me when I stick with the trend, Never making plans on a Friday night, I can't defend myself when they all want to fight, It's been decided, I'm never invited, Act like I don't care but I have to hide it, The weekend comes, And I have no fun, I won't get drunk until I'm 21.

Walking through the halls and I stare at the ground, Every time I see you, you push me around, Afraid to go to school cause I'll look like an ass, It never feels good to be the nerd in class, Never gonna be what they want me, The girl wouldn't go on a date with me, Wanted to be in with the in-crowd, I spent my life making parents proud.

First day of school I try to change my ways, But they'll laugh at me until the very last day, I won't go out in public and I can't go to the store, They see me and have a chance to laugh at me some more, You build your reps on my expense and then ask if you can copy my test, I walk in class and they all laugh, they took a kick me sign and put it on my back.

At school they laughed and they all kicked my ass, Because I wasn't a punk and I never got drunk, I thought I'd die if I ever got high, And everyone said I was a special guy.
Wearing glasses, acing classes, handing out the hall passes, I wore tight pants, I couldn't dance, screwing up my every chance, Never thought to wonder why, to stop or think how hard we try, How hard we try to fit in, No matter what we just can't win.
