Unfair Songtext
Here we are again, me and I,
at the same crossroads as before,
as the fires around us die down.
Decisions against the clock.
Our hearts are racing towards the sun,
new day's dawn so full of hope.
A kaleidoscope of emotional outbursts,
struggling against the words we spoke.

I swear I cannot take another fall
and all the pain that goes along.
Tears flow into mighty rivers,
words turn into frail butterflies
as beautiful, as lonely, as decayed,
flying idly with deathly intent,
descending slowly, wings are trembling
towards darkness, even onwards.

We fail to get really involved,
we fail to distance ourselves.
We fail to forgive, fail to forget,
we fail to see our horrors unfold.
We fail to get really involved,
we fail to distance ourselves.
We fail to forgive, fail to forget,
we fail to see our horrors unfold.

This stillborn feeling
cannot be brought to life,
the inability to cope
with those around us.
Consumed by the need
to know wrong from right,
even if it doesn't change a thing...
about you...or me.
Bodies rust together on this unfair world,
minds that melt into thousands of regrets.
Killers in the morning,
lovers in the dark,
what defines our sanity
addicted to drama!

We fail to get really involved,
we fail to distance ourselves.
We fail to forgive, fail to forget,
we fail to see our horrors unfold.
Again I failed to even notice
my body collapsing to the floor.
As the curtain draws to a close,
seasons came to pass...
