This Vision Songtext
So all this time what I've been searching for
Really wasn't what I needed at all
'Cause once I got it I didn't want it no more
Was then I realised
Some things aren't overlooked they're just ignored
How can something so big be made out as small?
We try to make the peace but all we got is war
We cannot compromise
Sometimes what we say it can just make things worse
Most of our mistakes are made from indecisive words
I'm sure there's intelligent life here in this universe
But surely it ain't us
I wanna speak my mind but I ain't got the nerve
I try to see some good I think my vision's blurred
The pieces in my puzzle are from what I've learned
But I don't have enough

We could go on forever, we could go on forever
And all the knowledge that we'd have it wouldn't change the good the bad
'Cause everyone has an opinion
We need to think of our future, we need to think of our future
'Cause what we say and do could lead to another war or maybe peace
And I can't see a better reason
For this vision

I step outside the square that I live in live in
To see that I'm not the only one with problems
We all have to continue as we deal with them
'Cause time just don't stand still
But sometimes we just have to stop and think
Recollect our thoughts and resume what we are doing
It's when we act without a purpose or reason
That leaves us unfulfilled
I could see that all along
All the things that I got wrong
Were never meant to discourage me
But clear the path to make it easier to see

A few bad decisions followed by applause
Without vision we don't have a cause
