There was a man Songtext
He was born in a little stable in a town called Bethlehem.

And no one knew the fact that he was born to die in pain for us.

He preached about the word of love, about the way that we should act.

Jesus was the name of the man that came to die and give his life for us.

Have you met the love of God, have you let him into your life?

He wants to hold you in his arms, and wants you to be his child.

He sees all of the things we do, he watches every step we make,

He can help you in your life if you will lay your trust in him.

There was a man who gave his life for you. His hands were Pierced by rusty nails upon the cross.

They took his clothes; they spat at his face and gave to him a crown of thorns.

They treated him like a criminal, because he preached the word of love.

They nailed him to the rugged cross; they pierced his palms with nails of steel.
And then he died for all our sins, and opened up the gate for us.

Spoken: As he hanged there on the cross, looking out on the screaming crowd.

He wanted all of them to be forgiven for the sins they've done.

He is the ultimate example of what love really is.
