The Sound of Indignation Songtext
I wasted so much time
Crying so untimely as I felt the sand consume me
I can no longer abide
By these shackled rules that rule me
Shall I cast them all aside?
I can only help to emerge

I will no longer wait
For these dreams from which I won't awake at all
I cause the Earth to shake
Watch it tremble through my eyes, I am enthralled
Whisper to them all, I can never stand to break it as I fall
Build a giant wall, but never let it's crashing deafen her
Because she has to hear

This is the sound of indignation in my ears
I can no longer pull myself as I walk in the cheer
Of the crowds that were never there, I hear them in my despair
As I soak away my fear
I hear the drowning getting near
The sound of indignation

Hear the music so quiet
It's so silent, so silent as a bell
That rings in alliance
With the enemies that never really fell
They scream in the night
The rainfall never really sung it's song
And she needs to hear
Oh, the misery, the shame
We all acquired from this games
I still fail to attain or obtain the proper way
To make another choice or bring a proper poise
In the rain, I cannot wait
I cannot wait for the noise, oh
