The Penguin Songtext
Will someone wake me from this dream?
I just saw the strangest thing, last night.
A talking penguin made me cry.
You think I'm crazy, it's no lie.

He spoke to me of love and life,
Failed to mention we were on thin ice
And when it cracked I started to fall
Oh, penguin do you care about me at all?
Oh, penguin please lend me your hand.
Won't you try and help me understand, why
Deep down in the ocean I submerge
But I keep my cool despite the urge, to crawl up and die?

He gave advice on passion and reason,
Failed to mention that it changes with season,
And when it cracked I started to fall.
Oh, penguin do you care about me at all?

When you fall, fall, fall, fall down in love,
It's sometimes cold.
When you crawl, crawl, crawl, crawl out of love,
You're not as bold.

And it makes as much sense as wearing flip flops in winter,
Or shorts in December, you know I don't like my legs.
Everyone knows that penguins can't fly,
So I have no choice but to slide...
So I slide away.
