Symphony Of Sleep Songtext
Last nite I had the sweetest dream of apathy:
We layed in the twilight with your arms around me.
And they made such perfect symmetry around my heart
But now, I can feel the sun on my face...

Now I awake with no sympathy for those around me
I can picture that dream of you and me just like a photograph
I'll use it to compose another symphony about loving you
But I'm always stuck with writer's block.
This morning I had no idea if I was awake or dead
I laid there in the sunlight with so much detest
And the rays of light shined so bright, it lit up my eyes
Bright enough to see what the blind-hearted never could.

Now I decide with no sympathy for those around me
I'll remember that dream of you and me just like a photograph
I'll use it to compose another symphony about loving you
Coz that's all that I can do.

Now I'm wide awake with no responibility for my actions
I want to fall asleep and dream of you and me in a photograph
We'll lay in the twilight as I'm about to say "I love you",
But I'll never find out if you love me too.

If only we could live in dreams...
