Sloth Art Songtext
The empire's crumbling
those wake up bells are ringing
and down in the rubble we are stumbling and singing
talking in circles while bombs burst through last calls
and we'll change tomorrow to feel less guilty about not changing at all
all of our good times are becoming bad habits
we don't have friends around here, we've got accessories

search for love and destiny in basements and bar rooms
computers and coffee shops, sentimental slow tunes
get rich quick schemes hopeless escapes
we've got ideas we'll never use and promises we've made to break
we're so young and pretty
we're trendy and trite
we're idle and useless
we are social parasites
so let's make a toast to all the resolutions that we, we forgot to make
to sex with everyone's ex-flings and all those awkward casual first dates
to the ashtray calendar and glorified self-abuse
to the B side of happiness
and all those white lies we've beaten black and blue

The empire's crumbling those wake up bells are ringing
and down in the rubble we are stumbling and singing
talking in circles while bombs burst through last calls
and we'll change tomorrow to feel less guilty about
making careers out of taking more than we give
i guess all there is to do around here is just live
