Revolve Songtext
The sun seems sweeter than ever before
as i shut my blinds and i close my door
i close my eyes and long for more
I'd sell my soul for a dollar more
so i can buy something i don't need
Throw it all away consume my greed
But as a build it up i realize
the whole world around me is made of lies

I find myself here older
but none the wiser
I hate what i need, I need what I hate
This world just turns at an awkward state
Why must the things we love revolve around the dollar?
Thank God its almost over

The sky more clouds than I have ever seen
No time to waste no time to dream
As things fall down i do believe
That things will change for you and me
But as for now I will remain
In one place, devoid of change
Waiting for something to come
There's nothing here to save it from

Disaster surrounding
Its breaking and pounding
But somewhere a hope lies inside
Take all of the faces
And give me your hopeless eyes
And fight through the lies

I find myself here older
but none the wiser
I hate what i need, I need what I hate
This world just turns at an awkward state
Why must the things we love revolve around the dollar?
Thank God its almost over

Strike me down for now
Take it all away
Never show me how
Changin' every day
This is not a test
This is not an ode
This is a reply
To do what we're told
Strike me down for now
Take it all away
Never show me how
Changin' every day
This is not a test
This is not an ode
This is a reply
To do what we're told
Forever getting cold
Forever getting cold
Forever getting cold
Forever getting cold
