Northern Utah Baseball, Southern California Irony Songtext
For a day I forgot my life was scripted, and consequently learned to live. It was summer, school had just let out and it was still me and my friends against this harsh yet beatable world. Life threw us curves and we swung with our eyes closed, we hung from the bedpost, pretended there was nothing we didn't know

So call on the angels in the outfield. Wave your arms if you believe in miracles. I might be alone now in chasing this dream down, but don't tell me, cause I swear nothing's 'out of bounds'.

For a night I forgot about sleep and drifted, into the reality I can't live. It was winter, a blizzard had just passed through but it was still me and most of my friends against the cold yet conquerable world. Life struck us a high note and we sung with our mouths closed, we struck our hero's pose, we ignored what we didn't know

So call on all your superheros. Wave your arms if you believe in miracles. I might be the only one still trying to fly away from this town, but don't tell me, cause I'd rather be lost then found.

For a second I remembered the reason why I live. It was February, the clock had just struck midnight and it was just me and the girl that meant everything, turning against me. She sent me flying, blinded by a light, I hung in the air, suspended in the sky, and I stopped pretending, and wondering why
So I called on my sense of hope. Waved my arms cause I believed in miracles. I was the only one still on my side, fighting this fight, the only member of my team, but don't tell me, cause that's all I need to live this dream.
