I'm like a cigarette
Flicked off to the side
Burning until nothings left of it
Burning a last glow until someone stomps it out
Not a trace left in it to say it was burning before
No glow
No spark
No life at all
Just a memory of it
How good it tasted
How long it lasted
Just like me a memory
Of how nice I was
How good I was
I'm just a memory
A person rejected and flicked off to the side
Knowing that no one cared
No one really gave a damn
Just flicked me off and stomped me out
Like I had no feeling at all
I had no words to speak
Nothing to say
Just wanted to live in peace
But no you had to stomp out my flame
The flame that burned so high
Is now reduced to nothing
But mist and ash
and a simple memory of me
