Little Pilgrims Songtext
I've been searching, back over the mountains of time
Back to those golden days
When we were free running barefoot and wild

Look at your children, and look at the world through their eyes
They're just little pilgrims
They've still got the stars in their eyes

The sun makes that golden light
That lights up the infinite sky
Gotta stop looking over your shoulder
Gotta wipe all those tears from your eyes

Don't waste your time regretting
We could have done everything much better
We can never give up trying
Everything is gonna heal in time
People talking 'bout thin reprisals
The signs are clear but they're just denials
Your kids are depending on you
Little pilgrims need lots of love

You know some things never change
The world keeps on turning around
Back in the good ol' days
Life was just a big merry-go-round
It's a journey
Over the halcyon miles
Sometimes we lose our way
And sometimes it seems so futile

The sun makes that golden light
That lights up the infinite sky
Gotta stop looking over your shoulder
Gotta wipe all those tears from your eyes

Don't waste your time regretting
We could have done everything much better
We can never give up trying
Everything is gonna heal in time
People talking 'bout thin reprisals
The signs are clear but they're just denials
Your kids are depending on you
Little pilgrims need lots of love
