In This World Songtext
I am the water and you are the sand
We are the lovers and you hold my hand
They hold the telescope and we are the ants in this world

We are the memories that we made at dusk
We sit around and collect in the dust
They like to believe that your love is a must in this world
In this world
In this world
In this world there is no perfection
There's only high standards and expectations to live like we do
In this world there is no rejection
There's only cleverly stated invitations to want what we do
And aim for what we do
Don't blame me blame reality

We reminisce in the steam of your smile
I hope you don't mind if we dream for awhile
We are just car shows and out of the pile of this world

Take all your tears and fill them to the brim
To water the flowers and rebuild the spring
Then you can see all the good in everything in this world

In this world there is no perfection
There's only high standards and expectations to live like we do
In this world there is no rejection
There's only cleverly stated invitations to want what we do
And aim for what we do
Don't blame me blame
Don't blame me blame
Don't blame me blame reality

I can not help but love everything
For I am apart of a beautiful thing
And all of the molecules of heavenly things in this world
In this world
