In The Garden Songtext
After croquet we'll drink tea
Then, my dear, you'll sit near me
We will laugh as the smell of the lilacs fill us with a jolly good feeling
You and I the best of friends
Hoping this day never ends
We will have no worries when we're hidden from the outside world

And this will be our garden
And you will be my Eve
We'll dance with all our clothes off
To the flowers' symphony
And we'll talk to the animals
Both the wild and the tame
But should we eat the fruit we'll be sent back to where we came

Smell the daisies, smell the roses
We'll get pollen on our noses
We will laugh at each other as we both hop in the pond
Water there will be so clear
You will see when I get near
You will splash me and then you will kiss me
Then we'll get out and lay under the oak tree

And this will be our garden
And you will be my Eve
We'll dance with all our clothes off
To the flowers' symphony
And we'll talk to the animals
Both the wild and the tame
But should we eat the fruit we'll be sent back to where we came

And this will be our garden
And you will be my Eve
We'll dance with all our clothes off
To the flowers' symphony
And we'll talk to the animals
Both the wild and the tame
But should we eat the fruit we'll be sent back to where we came

If at sometime you wish to be alone
I know where we could go
I can take you there (let me take you there)
Close your eyes, try to see what it's like
You don't have to worry it'll be alright
Our spirits will lift as we leave this world
And we'll go live as just one boy and one girl
And if you need someone to share all your dreams
I'm begging you now I'm getting down on my knees
When you're not looking, I'll grab both your hands
I'll twirl you around and together we'll dance

That, my darling, 's how I think it should be like
If you're feeling dizzy I suggest you walk toward the light
So you can be where you would like to spend the rest of time
We're in the sky all of the suns and moons and stars will be shy

And this will be our garden
And you will be my Eve
We'll dance with all our clothes off
To the flowers' symphony
And we'll talk to the animals
Both the wild and the tame
But should we eat the fruit we'll be sent back to where we came
