Float My Boat Songtext
So my boat is sinking.
And I will swim the mess I'm in.
The anchor drags while I have been
without you.

And my heart will ache.
Cause fate delayed the big parade.
It's really a wonder that I've stayed
without you.
Now I'm looking over my own one-leaf clover
that looks back at me. But sunshine and dreams
and those sorts of things could take my love
and somehow row it out to you.

So my laser's blinking.
And I will race through time and space
and wrap my heart in tinfoil till I find you.

And the Pendulum will swing
with one foot in the prime meridian
and a guess as good as mine
as to the place or time
that I'll find you.

Now I'm looking over my own one-leaf clover
that looks back at me. But sunshine and dreams
and those sorts of things could take my love
and somehow row it out to you.
Oh I have a need to find broken things
attached to the wheels attached to the wings
that take me to you.
