So this is the price we pay for freedom in our world today,
A group of battling might's fighting to say what is right,
Corruption in an envelope, for us maybe there is no hope,
We'll keep fighting for our rights, coz at the end of the tunnel there still is light!

And we trust them,
To rule our countries,
No meaningful policies,
It's all personality,
All they know is,
A fashion show,
With the latest face they know, they'll win the race

Now it's election day the voting could go anyway,
Strange if you believe in that , most people cannot smell a rat,
How it works is a mystery, consigned deep within history,
They do as they please, whilst taunting their enemies.
