you've come a long way from mary
and the love shines through your eyes
you're a legal street canegal on the rise
you got the answer in your pocket
to the question i now ask
is there any chance to throw away my mask
i got all my lord done lord
now tell me what to do
i was alone last night at home and
i couldn't close my eyes to sleep
i took a walk down the river
moved my feet
what i saw was water flowing
flowing down to the sea
and some tiny birds were singing
song to me
from today on i stop counting all my faults
and i hope it makes me grow
i'm sure there will be some obstacles in
my path
