Is War
there's something about this crowd and i don't see it going away something in the drinks perhaps cause they're wearing their heartache on their faces yeah they're eating each other up off of their plates i look up to the sky then to my feet i close my eyes and realize it's a mystery to me and everyone's drawing lines on the floor yelling this is me and that is you and this is war closed eyes and acceptance of what is seen after all this room is the way things are supposed to be Songtexte and what do i get for hanging around a thousand stories to laugh or cry about and everyone is falling in love so easily and everyone in here is half asleep i think maybe if i just close my eyes life will be a dream and the walls are heavy with layers of paint the carpeting, the wood paneling and thick window panes tricks, tint, smoke mirrors and broken glass the heavy dressings of our oh so heavy past and this is what i get for sticking around a million stories to laugh and cry about and everyone is giving in so easily tonight this is worth the fight.
