My Mediocre Dream
It takes some education to see how the game is played
but it don't get in my mediocre dream.
And it takes some inspiration to see how the paint is sprayed,
but it don't get in my mediocre dream.

and the whole world starts to fade.
It's dark but I'm not afraid.
You can say that I've got it made.

Oh no it ain't quite in focus yet,
But I know what I got to get
'cause I saw it on my T.V. set.
And it takes imagination if you want to be afraid
but it don't get in my mediocre dream.
Don't wake me up!
My mediocre dream
The images in my eye like some conventional stimuli
and I react and I don't care why.
Why, why my mediocre dream.
Oh no it ain't quite focused yet,
don't want to know what I've got to get
because I saw it on my T.V. set.
And it takes some imformation to know how much I have paid
but it don't get in my mediocre dream.
