The Undergrowth
The Ordess creeps back in the mud
Dripping ooze, it cuddles up
The Ordess lives way deep in the crust
With the slugs, it loves the mud
The Ordess thinks as it eats a bug
Of having legs and living up above
It would devour man and rule the earth
So don't go down to the Undergrowth
There's an Ordess there
It will eat you up
Don't go down to the Undergrowth
where the Ordess lives
with the slugs and the bugs
The Ordess has only one eye
One slimy eye always looking up
There's food there above
It loves to hunt
The Ordess sees the setting sun
Then from the Undergrowth, the Ordess comes
