Yeah well I'm happy with the way that I do things,
like playing my life on rusty strings.
I can safely say my tongue doesn't taste of anyone's arse.
I started out this way and nothing has ever changed and it's sad to say,
but if you wanna be happy today well, you gotta pay.
Nothing comes easy but man, it's harder for some.
Once you start doing something for somebody else then it stops being fun.
You can say that you're the king of DIY
but you've got sisters and brothers and a million others
sitting in, listening to copied CD's having a quiet night in.
People are the heart and music the veins
unless you're hardcore and prefer blood stains
But fuck a rubber duck I know where I'd rather be.
We're here, we're severely underpaid,
the country's cold and in social decay but when there's music in the air
it's like we've just tag teamed Marilyn Monroe.
