Down By The River Songtext
July in Georgia, Couldn't get much hotter.
Moon shining through the pine trees glistened on the water.
Giving off enough light for that sparkle in your eyes.
I couldn't think of a better spot to spend that night.
Down by the river with your hand in mine.
Just you and me and a bottle of grandpas homemade wine.
Fallin' in deeper than we've ever fell before.
Both giving all we had, but still wantin' more.
In the middle of the heat I felt a shiver.
Down by the river.
Its been years since I've seen your face, but there's some memory's even time cant erase.
Like the way you felt that night lyin' in my arms.
Girl I swear sometimes its still like we are down by the river.
With your hand in mine.
Just you and me and a bottle of grandpas homemade wine.
fallin' in deeper than we've ever fell before
Both giving all we had, but still wantin' more.
In the middle of the heat I felt a shiver down by the river.
Down by the river with your hand in mine.
Just you and me and a bottle of grandpas homemade wine.
Fallin' in deeper than we've ever fell before.
Both giving all we had but still wantin' more.
In the middle of the heat i felt a shiver.
down by the river.
Down by the river.
