Headlights from the head on cars threw light
against the glass, exploding diamonds

Running from the past we left behind us

We pulled into a truck stop

You asked me for ten bucks and I said

We stumbled through the aisles trading secret smiles
And laughing at the owners
The newspapers read 'Garcia Dead!'
