Dangerous Songtext
Well I guess that's an attraction
I guess that's common ground
But I'll consider it a call in to action for vision and feeling and sound
That's chaos caused by my condition
That's bloodshot eyes and making bones
Was it fate or was it friction, our lives ground together, eroding like stones?
Whatever answers that question we'll probably never know

Well it's probably my opinion
But there's danger everywhere
If you know where to look for a crook or a burglar or brawler or scare
And it's perfect for distraction
When you're running for your life
It's hard to think about other things, however deafening, try as you might
But darling, that's how you know that the danger is much more than slight

Sun's up this morning once again
A fact that my body won't admit
Night falls and it's back in my head
Get set, get bent, get dangerous

You spoke your mind
Out (---)
Time after time
Night after night

You can be the strings, I can be the frets, fate'll be the fingers
'Least that's what I thought she said
You can be the pen, I can be the ink
But if we're missing inspiration how the hell am I supposed to sing
Words without meaning or a song without a melody?

And it's mostly medication
That helps me make it through the day
Yeah we take down these medicines, carcinogens, and caffeine like the Catholics pray
And I'm open to suggestion
On how to step out of the spin
But before I can take action I get so distracted and the sun sets again
But darling, that's when I know that my chances are getting thin

I close, he's shooting from the hip
My trigger finger starts to itch
Night falls and it's back in my head
Get set, get bent, get dangerous
Inside they're staring at the clock
Outside we're lighting up the spot
No time to take it from the top
Come on boys, let's give it all we got

Let's get dangerous

My hands are closed, my fists are tied
My eyes and ears are open wide
So you can look right on inside
But I'm not finished, not tonight

Let's get dangerous
