There he was in his class.
How could he ever pass?
If he kept studying her
Sat there staring all day,
thinking maybe one day
His yearning heart would cure
But it never healed up,
because he was in love,
And it made his knees feel week
He walked up to her desk,
and he opened his mouth,
but he just couldn't speak
She asked him on a date
he could not believe what she said
He stuttered and nodded his head
he went up to her house,
what a beautiful house,
but not as pretty as she
She looked perfect that night,
Under the full moon-light
And they went to the movies.
The night went really well,
She thought he was just swell
and he had just one wish
At the end of the night,
he closed his eyes real tight,
and she gave him a kiss
His eyes became real wide
His heart began to race
With a smile on his face
He waited with a smile,
and he said things sure were great,
And he asked for a second date
So she waited by the phone,
and he called her the next day
Things turned out so great
