Bugs In Amber Songtext
Begin with the eyes intense with surprise
The pupils black, kindly staring back
Image born from a gentle hand
Portrait of a man
Breathing new life in shades dark and light
With withered flesh, stretching east to west
Documenting the wear and tear
He’d given the world to share

Dark times bring light to me
Who knew? Oh you look so sad.

How much damage must you inflict upon your heart until it’s made of gold?
Watch as I get burnt again for lending out a hand.

The legend, the myth of Mr. Black
Kindly staring back
And lifted everyone’s crippled hearts
Undeniable art
A symbol for all placed on the wall
To represent an influence
Of anyone who’s been down-trodden
Gave them hope after sin.
